## Key facts

- **6**: Kinds of source in one search
- **4**: Specialist delivery pattern sets: CPQ, FSL, Agentforce, FSC
- **Real**: Counts of what is indexed, never padded
- **#**: Searches the hub from inside any chat

## Why Salesforce knowledge is so hard to find when you need it

The answer to a Salesforce question is usually split three ways: what Salesforce documents, what experienced consultants know, and what your org actually does. Searching each separately is slow, and the third is rarely written down.

- **Documentation is generic.** Salesforce's documentation explains how a feature works, not how your org uses it. Bridging the two takes someone who knows both.
- **Expertise walks out the door.** Pricing logic, scheduling rules and agent design patterns live in senior people's heads, and leave when they do.
- **Your org is undocumented.** Why a Flow exists, what a field is for, which team owns a permission set: the context for your own org is the hardest thing to find.
- **Notes go missing.** Runbooks, decisions and meeting notes end up in drives and chat threads that nobody can search alongside the org.

## What does the Knowledge Hub search?

Type a question or a term and results come from Salesforce documentation, delivery patterns, your org's components, their dependencies, health and audit findings, and your Pages. A question about fault paths can return the documentation, the Flows in your org that lack them, what runs after them and your team's own automation standards, side by side.

Search combines keyword and meaning-based matching. If meaning-based search is not available for a workspace, keyword search still works. The top of the hub shows what is actually indexed, with real counts, and a source that is not connected says so.

- Documentation, patterns, components, dependencies, findings and pages
- Keyword and meaning-based matching
- Real counts of what is indexed

## Which Salesforce delivery patterns are included?

The Knowledge Hub carries delivery patterns for CPQ pricing, Field Service scheduling, Agentforce agent design and Financial Services Cloud data models. These are the kinds of knowledge that normally live in a senior consultant's head, available to everyone on the team.

Patterns appear alongside your org's own components, so an answer about CPQ pricing rules can point to the rules in your connected org that it applies to.

- CPQ pricing
- Field Service scheduling
- Agentforce agent design
- Financial Services Cloud data models

## How does the Knowledge Hub work with the AI chat?

Type # in the chat composer to search the Knowledge Hub directly, or ask a question and the chat searches it for you. Results appear as numbered sources under the reply, so every answer can be checked against what it was based on.

Paste a web address into a message and the chat can read it too. Answers you want to keep can be saved as a page with one click.

- # to search from the composer
- Numbered, checkable sources under every reply
- Save any answer as a page

## Where does your team's own knowledge live?

Pages hold requirements, runbooks and meeting notes, linked to your projects and orgs. Record a meeting and the transcript becomes a page; save any chat answer as a page; restore anything deleted from trash.

Files attached to conversations stay with them, and the document library keeps uploaded and generated documents together. All of it is searchable from the Knowledge Hub alongside the org itself.

- Pages for requirements, runbooks and notes
- Meeting transcripts become pages
- Files and documents kept with their work

## How do meetings and documents become searchable knowledge?

Record a meeting straight into a page: pick the browser tab with the call, its audio is transcribed as you go, and when you stop the transcript is saved as a page. Discovery calls, design reviews and handovers become searchable alongside the org they were about. The recorder runs on OpenAI's speech model, so it needs an OpenAI key in the workspace for now.

Pages can also be created directly, or from any chat answer with Save as page. Deleting a page moves it to trash, where it can be restored. Files attached to conversations stay with them, and the document library keeps uploaded and generated documents together, so nothing your team produces disappears into a personal drive.

- Meeting audio transcribed into a page
- Save any chat answer as a page
- Trash with restore
- A document library for uploaded and generated files

## How the Knowledge Hub works

2. **Write.** Add Pages, record meetings and save answers worth keeping.
3. **Search.** Ask in the hub or type # in chat.
4. **Cite.** Every result appears as a numbered source you can open and check.

One search across Salesforce documentation, delivery patterns, your org's components and dependencies, health and audit findings, and your team's Pages.

### Does it include CPQ and Agentforce expertise?

Yes. It includes delivery patterns for CPQ pricing, Field Service scheduling, Agentforce agent design and Financial Services Cloud data models.

### How do I search it from the chat?

### Does it search our own org?

### Is our knowledge shared with other customers?

No. Your orgs, pages and files belong to your workspace and are isolated from every other customer.

### Can we record meetings into the Knowledge Hub?

Yes. Record a meeting from Pages and the transcript is saved as a page you can search. The recorder needs an OpenAI key in your workspace for now.

### What happens when a page is deleted?

### Does the hub show what has actually been indexed?

Yes. The top of the hub shows real counts of connected orgs, components with full source, dependency links, the latest audit, recent syncs and Pages. A source that is not connected says so.

### Is the Knowledge Hub included on the free plan?

Every plan includes every feature. Free covers one user and one production org with its sandboxes, on your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, with no credit card and no time limit. Paid plans include AI and cover more people and production orgs.

### Where did the Metadata Map and Connection Map go?

They are now the map view inside each org's Lineage lens, where a component opens its full analysis. Old links forward there.

### Can the chat read web pages?

Yes. Paste a web address into a chat message and it can be read alongside the Knowledge Hub, with sources shown under the reply.
