What is Lightning Web Components?
Salesforce's modern framework for custom UI components
- Also: LWC
Definition
Lightning Web Components (LWC) is Salesforce's framework for building custom user interface components with standard web technologies. Each component is a bundle of files, typically JavaScript, HTML and metadata, and can call Apex and be placed on pages with Lightning App Builder.
01Why it matters
Lightning Web Components in practice
Components are code, so they need the same care as Apex: their Apex calls, the properties admins can set and the pages they appear on all have to stay consistent.

How it shows up in the product
SyncOnAI 360 syncs every file of each component, provides a visual builder with a library of more than 700 components generated from Salesforce's own source, wires Apex calls on both sides together, and proposes a component with its controller and test as one change.
