What is Permission set?
A bundle of access you can grant to users
Definition
A permission set is a collection of Salesforce permissions, such as object access, field access and system permissions, that can be assigned to users in addition to their profile. Salesforce recommends granting access through permission sets and permission set groups rather than profiles.
01Why it matters
Permission set in practice
Over time orgs collect permission sets that grant the same thing, and access that is broader than anyone intended. Access reviews depend on seeing who actually holds what.

How it shows up in the product
SyncOnAI 360 finds redundant permission sets, elevated access such as Modify All Data outside admins, broad API access and guest user exposure, and flags every access change on a proposal for the approver.
